Fin+ is a membership program that offers the opportunity to experiment with various fin configurations for a personalized surfing experience. It is designed for surf enthusiasts, including radicals, aficionados, and surf nerds, who value flexibility in their surfing without the need to purchase equipment upfront. With Fin+, you can try different fin setups before committing to a purchase.

Memberships have 3 tiers ranging from $10, $15 and $20 billed monthly, or $100, $150 and $200 billed annually. Each offering limitless fin swapping with different sets of incentives applying from the lowest to highest monthly fees. All Fin+ members become SurfBored Members, a loyalty program designed to bring our customers exclusive offerings and discounts across our platform and shop.

Memberships will be billed to your credit card on file each billing cycle for as long as you're enrolled.

There’s no limit to the length of time you can keep fins as long as you are an active member. If you find a magic fin or set up, feel free to use your Bored Member discounts to buy a new set in store and send back the used ones which we can replace with something else for you. We know you have a sick quiver, so we’re here to bring you that variety.

As much as you want!

Each swap has a 14 day overlap window, meaning we’ll get your new fins out to you before you have to send the previous ones back, making sure you're never left without a fin set.

Local pickup & dropoff is available for free! Simply give us a call or shoot us an email and we'll make sure to reserve your items in advance.

When shipping your fins out, each membership tier offers different quantities of fins you can rent at once, and different quantities of free shipping credits provided by us in an annual term. Once you exceed the free shipping credits, we’ll charge a flat fee of $10 for each time you swap out in a 1 year period (credits reset each year). For example, if you have 3 credits, you can swap 3 times on us and thereafter we’ll charge the flat fee of getting you some new fins.

Local pickup & dropoff does not use shipping credits. Credits are only applied when shipping your rentals out.

When you're an active Fin+ member, you automatically become a SurfBored Member! We'll be bringing our SurfBored Members exclusive offerings and discounts across our platform and shop.

You can find your membership discount code in the 'Subscription' section of your account dashboard. Use code at checkout to redeem.

Select 'My FIN+' from the site menu and login! You'll be redirected to your FIN+ dashboard where you can manage your fin rentals and returns.

You can also access your FIN+ dashboard from your SurfBored account page. To do so, simply select the person icon at the upper right hand side of the screen and login to your account. Once logged in, select 'Manage Subscriptions' on the right hand side of your SurfBored account.

You'll then be redirected to your Fin+ account dashboard where you can manage all your fin+ rentals and returns.

Simply login to your SurfBored account and select 'Manage Subscriptions'.

From there, find the your current fin rental you would like to return and select 'Return' or 'Swap'.

Return if you're in a hurry and you can rent a new set at a later time. Or swap if you'd like to checkout a new set of fins to try!

You have 14 days to ship your return back once you initiate your return. If you need more time, you can cancel your return.

You'll be able to print your return label or track the status of your return shipment from the 'Returns' section of your dashboard.

Each subscription tier comes with either 1, 2, or 3 free round trip rental shipments per year. Once you've used all of your free shipping credits up, we'll charge you $10 for shipping out each new rental.

Free returns on all rentals!

J-Bay Subscriptions get 1 free shipping credit awarded per year.

Cloudbreak Subscriptions get 2 free shipping credits awarded per year.
(1 every six months with monthly plan)

Pipeline Subscriptions get 3 free shipping credits awarded per year.

Yes! To change your subscription tier, simply email us at info@surf-bored.com so we can process your request to ensure you are charged the correct amount.

Your new monthly charge will be reflected on your next billing.

Accidents happen and we want you to feel that we’re here to help you have fun, not clean out your bank account. Lost or damaged fins are charged at 50% of the fin’s retail value on top of your monthly subscription fees. Rest assured, we’ll replace your fins ASAP so that you can keep shredding out there.

Limitations apply: 1 allowance per year

No problem! Cancel your subscription at any time. To cancel your subscription, please email us at info@surf-bored.com so we can process your request to guarantee you’ll no longer be charged for this subscription.

No refunds will be provided for past or current months but you will not be charged upon the next monthly billing cycle.

Monthly Memberships
Upon cancellation, you will have 14 days to ship back any fins you currently have rented. If fins are not shipped back within 14 days, you accept ownership of the fins and will be charged the full retail price of the fins.

Annual Memberships
Upon cancellation, you will continue to have access to your membership until your annual billiing cycle ends. Once your membership billing cycle has ended, you'll have 14 days to ship back any fins you currently have rented. If fins are not shipped back within 14 days, you accept ownership of the fins and will be charged the full retail price of the fins.

E.g. Say you signed up on August 1st, 2022 with an annual membership and canceled on December 5th, 2022. You would still have access to your membership including all rentals and benefits until August 1st, 2023. You would then have until August 14th, 2023 to ship back or drop off any currently rented items before any charges apply.
